A single rebate frame holds one shutter — common for internal doors. A double rebate frame can hold a door on each side (e.g., a main door plus a mesh/jali door). Choose based on whether you want a secondary safety or insect door.
Heavier gauge means a stronger, more secure frame — ideal for main entrances and commercial use. Lighter gauge is fine for internal doors and keeps cost down.
Measure the wall opening carefully (height × width × wall thickness). Steel frames are made to your exact dimensions, so accurate measurement avoids gaps and rework.
Powder-coated and pre-painted (PPGI) finishes come in white, brown, grey and custom shades. Pick a colour that matches your doors and interiors; the finish resists fading and needs no repainting.
